Q & A

What’s the plan for the day?

Please arrive by 13:30 to be seated in time for the ceremony to begin at 14:00.
The ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception at 15:00, with the wedding breakfast at 16:30. This will be followed by live music from around 19:30, and then an evening buffet.

What’s the dress code?

Please wear formal attire: suits, cocktail dresses, or something similarly smart.

How do I get there?

The reception and ceremony are both in the centre of Canterbury, a very short walk from each other. The easiest way to travel to Canterbury is by train. Travel to either Canterbury East or West Station is fine, as both are within 15 minutes walk of the church. Parking at the venue is very limited, so if you wish to drive on the day then you will have to use public parking. Whitefriars, Watling Street and Queningate car parks are all within five minutes walk of the church.

What would you like as a gift?

Giving a gift is entirely optional. The most important thing is your company, and we are very grateful for your attendance.
If you would like to give a gift, though, then we would very much appreciate something from our registry, linked just below, or a cash contribution to our honeymoon fund, here: https://paypal.me/LiJonathanHoneymoon. Alternatively, we would also be very happy with something of your own choosing!
The registry allows you to say you have purchased an item elsewhere, so if you find something we’ve listed on sale at another retailer for less money, feel free to purchase it there instead! Just remember to come back and tell the registry website that you’ve bought it elsewhere.
Note we are still updating the registry, so there may be some new items there if you check back later.

Will it be lots of fun?

Yes.
